Picking Stones are meant to wear out the sharp tip of the beak naturally , so they do less damage to other chickens. The Picking Stone provides effective distraction in the stable, reducing stress and preventing cannibalism and feather picking. This benefits animal welfare. The picking stone can preferably be placed in the litter, directly by set up. The animals pick up as needed. Application in the stable about 1 stone per 1000 chickens. By making this stone extra hard, it will last longer.
